Bundle of 1000's of outwardly conductive (efferent) motor "motion-inducing" nerve fibers that extend from the anterior/ventral surface of the spinal cord and out to the posterior ganglia/spinal ganglia where the threads are mixed with the threads of the hind root ganglia and then continue out into the spinal nerve of the spinal nerve in question. The anterior filaments have their cell bodies - motor neurons - mainly in the anterior horns of the spinal cord.
The foreroots leaving the spinal cord segments T1 up to and including In addition to motor neuron filaments, L2-L3 also contains sympathetic preganglionic nerve fibers that start from cell bodies in the lateral horns of the spinal cord. Of these preganglionic nerve fibers, some must affect the postganglionic neurons in the border ganglia and some pass through the border cord and on to the abdominal ganglia.
