The Sight High Band

Taenia thalami

The visual cord forms the attachment of the roof of the third cerebral ventricle with its blood vessel braid.

The visual cord begins where the outer attachment band of the blood vessel braid (taenia choroidea) ends at the ventricular interval. The visual cord then continues backwards on the inside of the visual mound , reaching the pineal gland (epiphysis) where it passes into the opposing side's synhigh band.
