The longest of the duran's blood joints. It runs in the middle line inside the hard meninges where the cerebral sickle exits. The blood leader receives superficial cerebral veins and arachnoid alnodules. The latter serve as drain valves for the discharge of cerebrospinal fluid from the subarachnoidal space into the bloodstream.
