Velum interpositum

Tight tissue blade located between the roof of the 3rd ventricle and the vault. The leaf is formed by meningeal tissue and contains several of the deep cerebral veins. The limb seal extends from the underside of the posterior edge of the cerebral beam to the ventricular intermediate cavities. In other words, the seal is located within the foremost part of the transverse brain fissure.
