Nucleus parabigeminalis

Parabigeminal nucleus, Ch8

The core, one more hay. and one to the left, belongs to the acetylcholine-producing cell groups of the formatio reticularis. The nucleus is located in the outer part of the lamina techi at the level of the lower four-pile and contains the acetylcholine-producing cell group Ch8. The nucleus participates in the processing of visual signals and is connected to, among other things, the upper four-high track, the lateral knee body, pulvinar and primary visual cortex.
