Large cell part of the red nucleus

Nucleus ruber, pars magnocellularis

The large cell (magnocellular) part of the nucleus rubers receives signals from the somatomotor and somatosensory parts of the cerebral cortex and from the nucleus interpositus in the cerebellum.
