One on hay. and one on the left. Side connects the posterior and middle cerebral arteries with each other. In some cases, the posterior connecting artery connects the posterior cerebral artery to the very outermost part of the internal carotid artery
The posterior connecting artery is included in the arterial circle of the brain (circulus arteriosus cerebri)
