Step 1.

The underside of the brain without a brainstem & cerebellum. The cross-cut midbrain is located in the middle of the image. The bark layers of the occipital lobe and temporal lobe are weakly pervasive to suggest underlying structures.

Step 2.

Areas of interest and structures in order from the underside of the brain towards its upper surface. This is a complex picture that you have to take your time to examine. A semi-transparent curtain - "Deep curtain" in the list - separates the areas closest to the underside, and which are clearly visible here, from those further in. If you want to see all the structures at once, you should turn off the "Deep Curtain" immediately. Otherwise, it is recommended to turn off the structures in turn from the top of the list down. Don't forget the opportunity to turn everything off and then join together the structures you are particularly interested in!

Step 3.

Large brain gray matter (bark and nuclei). The inner nerve fibre capsule, ventricular system and brain beam are included in the image as transparent units.

Step 4.

Large runway systems. Tip: to get an idea of the major thoroughfare for nerve signals from the cerebral cortex to the lower levels of the central nervous system: try first clicking on the list's "turn off all" and then light "descending conduction pathways in the brain stem", then "inner nerve fiber capsule" and finally "beam crown". Read about the different structures in their fact boxes.

Step 5.

Seahorse/hippocampus region with connections Suggestion: investigate the connections between the different sections of the vault (fornix) and the hippocampus on the one hand and the wart body (corpus mamillare) on the other. Start by extinguishing everyone and then fill up with what you are wondering about.
