Step 1.

Expose the inside of the right hemisphere. If you peel off the bark layer, you get into the white matter. This consists of an almost unimaginably large number of thin myelinated nerve fibers that are tightly packed together and form different types of conduction pathways. The spinal cord, brainstem and cerebellum are weakly marked.

Step 2.

Prepare the examination of the different pathway types of the white matter. Here, the cerebral cortex has been made faintly transparent. One can now sense the jumble of web systems in the white matter inside the bark layer.

Step 3.

Locate the major track systems The nerve fibre masses form different projection pathways which, via the so-called The corona radiata transmits signal traffic between the cerebral cortex and lower levels of the central nervous system. Transverse - commissural - pathway systems merge in the cerebral beam, in the anterior cross-connection and in the cross-connection of the vault, thus connecting the cortex areas of the two cerebral hemispheres with each other. Longitudinal - associative - connections run between different areas of bark within the same hemisphere of the brain.

For example, pick together the different parts of the striated nuclear area with each other and examine how this is in relation to the ventricle system and the radiant crown/inner nerve fibre capsule.

Step 5.

Examine the nuclei of the cerebellum (telencephalon). The pile of vision (thalamus), lateral ventricle and inner nerve fibre capsule (capsula interna) are included in the image as transparent areas. They are NOT counted as cores but are included to facilitate positioning.
